COURSE INFORMATION

GP Rating

GP Rating is a six months residential course approved by D.G Shipping (Govt of India). GP Rating syllabus includes the combined study of Deck and Engineering subjects. This course will cover all aspects of the seafaring profession (Deck and Engine), which also include swimming, physical drills, workshop training, rope and mast climbing, lifesaving appliances usage, firefighting exercises and ship visits etc

After the training, external examinations are conducted by Board of Examination of Seafarers (BES)under D.G Shipping (Govt of India). In GP rating course students will be trained in both Deck and Engine. This course ensures higher employability of the India Seafarers in the world Markets.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification :

Education Qualification: 10th pass with aggregate 40% and 40% in English from a recognized board with Mathematics & Science.

Age Limit :

17.6 to 25 years

Physical Requirement :

Medically fit as per the M.S (Medical Examination of seafarer) rules 2000 as amended from time to time and also as per the D G Shipping Guidelines

Eyesight Standard :

Vision 6/6 with normal colour vision.Passport is Mandatory.
